Discounting Fournette's two home runs, they did stupendous against him. Minus those 130 something yards, and he had a really pedestrian day.
They showed a graphic sometime today that says he hasn't bene tackled for zero or negitive yards this season. We got him a few times early and blew him up at the point of attack.Discounting Fournette's two home runs, they did stupendous against him. Oh yeah just minus the 130 yards. He still has 110 yards if you minus the two runs. Run defense did as well as can be expected. No great.
Huh? I mean he was an eyelash from a 350 yard day.
Can't be true. He was stopped a few times behind the LOS against Miss St in the second half when they stacked the box. Might have been more to that graphic than just thatThey showed a graphic sometime today that says he hasn't bene tackled for zero or negitive yards this season. You didn't offend me...I thought we played hard and we gave him trouble at times, but he's a dominant player and just owns everyone. He might run for 2400 yards this year. Maybe more.Yeah but in the context of him being (almost) the entire Tiger offense, against a defense that displayed some vulnerabilities against Wake and a MAC opponent, it isn't really that much. In my opinion, the Syracuse defense either met or exceeded expectations of those that are informed and attentive.
Edit: Although quoted, not meaning you in that last sentence if it reads that way.
