No, he wouldn't because he is a coward. He should issue a similar statement at the press conference explaining why he, his producer and Bob Ley have all been fired. That won't happen because the entity that employs them is cowardly too.

2+ years later and I still seethe every time I'm reminded of that crapfest. "Journalism" at its worst.

The funny part is that there is no actual value in 'breaking' news anyway. I mean as soon as you 'break' something it's reported by 9 million other outlets instantaneously. Even if you get credit for breaking it, it's lost amid the deluge of follow-up.
