Though it's only the calm before Head Coach Hard Nose's second season, I for one believe there is quite a bit to appreciate and be thankful for.

We were in a very tough situation after Marrone left for Buffalo, followed by Hackett. So I think we were very lucky to bring up one of our own, whose passionate for the program. I think we got something good going on here.

Let us not forget about George McDonald, Hicks, Smith, Bobby Acosta Eric White etc. and the rest of the staff who have proven instrumental in the success we're building on, most obviously right now being recruiting.

Obviously there's room for improvement, but there is also room for excitement. We have a coaching staff who is clearly passionate about the city and university, and is absolutely adored and loved by the team and fans.
