My 1st sports hero. So sorry it's a few months late. No doubt that he and Dan Fouts were the 2 QBs of the 70's. His numbers weren't elite which surprised me but he carried that team and was a major winner

Raiders fan who's a little young to have seen the snake play. I wonder if his death pushed him over the top via the sympathy vote

To me,the Snake was the greatest comeback QB ever. Oakland was never out of reach when the Snake was determined to win.The played the game the way it was supposed to be and never wore "tiger" pants.
