But before the local fanbase in throws stones from their glass houses, there have been plenty of examples of the local fan base being just as fair weathered in their support of Syracuse for both basketball and football. The student body is the easy target for this message board to vent on when it comes to attendance but it's not like there is a massive waiting list of people looking for season tickets from the local fanbase. To me the local fanbase has always treated Syracuse more like a professional sports team than the local collegiate team that is supported throughout good and bad times [/QUOTE]
