We have progressed through this season and developed into the No. 13 ranked team in the nation. On Monday I hear a voice. There is a little orange football player on my right shoulder who keeps whispering, “we're going to run the table”, “we're going to run the table”. Another figure on my other shoulder in red and dragging a pointed tail on the ground with a very sharp pitch fork in his clawed hand answers in an alien voice “you're crazy!” But, as I look at what we've accomplished and our attitude going into the last three games I DON'T SEE WHY WE CAN'T RUN THE TABLE. This team is very capable of winning out. There's nothing better for me than beating Louisville, and especially ND and BC. I say we have that in us and there's every possibility we will. I think we are going to destroy the Petrino coached team. That's as far as I am going to take it. One game at a time. But then the voice in orange keeps up it's chant “run the table” and I am beginning to listen.

as fans we can always look ahead, my outlook is just the opposite, win Friday get the 8 wins and everything else is house money. 8-4 is a hell of a season for where we were a year ago. Love 9-3 but I just cant see 10-2, just cant see it. ND/ BC back to back on the road is a brutal swing and both have playing styles that will be very tough for us. Like I said, glad that rolling the table is an option but I'd be happy with 8 and hoping for 9, just don't see 10.

I think you mean "run" the table.

Unless he's got one of those dining room tables on wheels, and is trying to figure out how he's going to host Thanksgiving dinner...

Totally agree, Fridays game is the last time we will be home and favored. Nothing would surprise me but I think we go 8-4, and that is more than acceptable. Dino and the guys are capable of upsets but those have ALL come at home. They have played well on the road but haven’t been able to consistently win away from CNY. A let down game is inevitable soon, but we should take care of the cardinals. We are good enough to hang with ND but people may be underestimating BC and how tough they will be at home.

Duh, my bad - it has been corrected. Knew something was wrong when I proofed it - bad morning.

I wish we were playing bc then Notre Dame. I think we can beat bc on the road. Our secondary and pass rush is good enough to make them one dimensional and I think if we call the right defense we can stop Dillion. I just want to go into that last game as playing for 10 and 2. I hope Dino and the gang can treat this like clemson... Virginia... nc state and put the right game together to take down a top rated team for the second time this year. In the mean time let’s hope the boys get thru this week with a win and healthy

Yeah healthy is key. Wake Forest showed us what an unhealthy team looks like. At this time of the year a couple key injuries are the difference between a win and a loss. That may mean the difference in the last two games we play. So hoping for an injury-free Friday is smart. Me too.
