A couple of things that I have been stuck on and might have missed...

1. Did LF know she was being recorded (not for evidentiary purposes) but did she understand what she was saying would absolutely destroy her?

2. How/why in God's name do people in a marriage like that stay together? What was it that she was hanging on to with BF to keep herself and her kids around an alleged child abuser?

She didn't know she was being taped.

Who knows why they stayed together. Many reasons, I assume.
