East Carolina is a real good win for Tulane as they beat North Carolina in Chapel Hill a couple weeks ago. I thought ECU was the best team in the CUSA I guess not. That does make that win a lot better now.

Nick Montana. The 'Cuse D roughed him up pretty good. He was getting knocked around constantly. I give him props he only came out for one play.

Pete Thomas is awful. My biggest concern all week was having Brandon Mitchell come back. We struggle against dual threats, guys like Thomas who we can just dial it up against we fare much better. I'd rather play against a 100% Pete Thomas vs a 75% Brandon Mitchell all day everyday. We caught a nice break there, one I will gladly take

One of the weirdest plays of the game was Pete Thomas on that option play. It was as if the entire D said oh don't worry he'll have to pitch it. Then about 25 yards downfield we figured it out and tackled him after a 38 yard gain.

He's really not good. That was probably the play of his life.

i thought they looked the best when their back up was in running the zone read, but that run by thomas was slow motion
