Those two plays were there for big gains. We screwed up both of them, one was on Nykeim, one appeared to be a Tommy issue.

Keep working on it and using it, it will work! Much improved offensive play calling today, still can do better.

Agree, the 1st one he was being led into traffic and gatored it. The 2nd one on 3rd down late was WIDE open but TD threw an uncatchable ball. Hopefully they learn and can hit that on a big 3rd down to run some clock or get a key 1st down later this year.

Always think of Eric to Erv against Clemson for the looping TD early that set the tone

you could see Tommy indicate he’s lost sight of him ... was watching TV and gestured like his vision was obstructed.
 
Good news bad news with those. Both were set up very well. But we have to execute better.

also look for a a fake tunnel screen/deep ball against either Duke or Liberty. It’s a scheme evolution, and definitely something we want on film to help keep that tunnel screen to Nykeim open
