They correctly surmise that our response to any of their jabs will be "ACC". To which they have no response. It would have the same effect as showing a cross to a vampire.
 
Those who miss this can always visit the Rutgers board where the clownish RutgersAl continues his forecasts of greatness unabated. Some are still "guaranteeing" that the Big Ten invitation is inevitable if not in the mail. Others are peddling complicated theories in which the ACC is raided and Rutgers or UConn or both are replacements seizing on any rumor to bolster their case.
 
We are in a quiet period. The conversations we will have with our new ACC brethren haven't started yet. The old conversations are winding down as more and more people figure out that these schools are irrelevant to SU.
