The Ultimate Playlist of Noise (filmed in Syracuse)

This young adult comedy-drama is on Hulu now. It's always neat to see locally produced or filmed movies. The Cusack one from 2013 was okay, but that one was limited to gloomy Westcott backdrops. This one has more local variety (although still Nov./Dec.), including many scenes of Liverpool, the Armory, and other spots around the city.

This is an American High-related production. The plot is okay, and kind of fresh for an American road movie (the characters are not Syracuse-based, though; Michigan)

Any other indie films made locally (besides Adult World and the one with that guy from Boardwalk Empire)?

I enjoyed the Playlist movie. Watched it over weekend. Interesting plot twist...recommended.

My brother was an extra when they filmed at the Galleries for this movie. I don't know if he made the cut, he spent 11 hours onsite most of the time just sitting around. When they were filming he was going up and down the escalator a million times.
