- 13-11, 4 in a row….Sports is all about hope….

- 4-3 clinches the ‘streak’.

- Joe Girard vs. Symir Torrance: the offense functioned best when Sy was in there in the first half. But he couldn’t have made the plays Joe made at the end of the game, especially t hat incredible step back 3 over a 7 footer. And Joe closed out the game at the line like GMAC used to. Let’s be glad we’ve got both of them.

- Jesse Edwards and Frank Anselem. Jesse must have read his press clippings because he really didn’t come to play today. Frank picked him up with a strong and aggressive 20 minutes. Again, I’m glad we’ve got both.

- And if they can’t, Cole Swider could lick ‘em, too. In the last 4 games he’s scored 69 points on 25 for 38 shooting, (66%), including 14 for 19 three pointers, (74%). That’s really, really good.

- The Boeheim brothers weren’t brilliant, (11 of 31 from the field) but we couldn’t have won without their 25 points and 10 rebounds.

- Benny Williams missed his 11th field goal in a row but he did score with a free throw and grabbed 3 rebounds in 6 minutes. If he can just concentrate on using his physical abilities to get the ball for his teammates, he can help us.

- It wasn’t “pretty” like the last three games but maybe that’s more impressive. We’re going to have to win both pretty and ugly to pull this off.

13-11 with 7+ to go.

LET’S GO ORANGE!

Good post as usual, except it should not be Joe v Sy when they are both playing well, except in the mind of the Coach who won't sit his kids.

The first part of that was my point. They might be our starting backcourt next year.

“Let’s be glad we’ve got both of them.” What a refreshing viewpoint!
