- The bad shooting made this game appear closer than it actually was. If we’d shot the same percentages as we had in the first two games we’d have scored 91 points.

- That’s because we out-rebounded the Red Raiders 52-34 and forced 21 turnovers. We can press when we want to and can rebound when we want to, too. In three games we have 59 offensive rebounds to 21.

- We can defend, too. Colgate missed 13 of 19 shots inside the arc.

- Nobody “went off” on us this time. Colgate had one double figure scorer, Ethan Jacobs who scored 4 baskets and 13 points.

- When CJ isn’t turning it over, he’s averaging 21.4 points per game.

- When not missing free throws, Michael Gbinije scored 11 points with 6 rebounds and 3 assists in only 18 minutes. He has an 8-0 assist to turnover ratio this year.

- Tyler Ennis negated Trevor Cooney’s struggles by going 4 for 6 from 3 point range. Defenses are focusing on Cooney as our #1 outside threat and leaving Ennis alone. He’s making them pay and that could open things up for Cooney. If they both get going we get to call them the T and T backcourt- explosive!

3-0 with 28+ to go

Let’s Go Orange!

Agent Zero has really impressed me so far, to be honest I've been wondering why he doesn't get more minutes, and then it occurred to me we have two developmental guards in Buss and BJ who need to see the floor right now to improve as soon as possible.

Once conference play starts I expect to see less developing of the young guys, and much more Agent Zero, dude has been great defensively our best up top IMO and while not the distributor Ennis is, he definitely can see the floor better than Cooney and the other guards not named Ennis.

I gather Michael Gbinije is "Agent Zero" because of his number.
