Remember the bad old days when our returner would signal for a fair catch even before the punter’s foot hit the ball? - Our defense was actually kind of a mixed bag. Sometimes we were pretty good. Other times we were awful. But we forced half a dozen punts and two field goal attempts, one of which was missed. Four of Florida State’s possessions were three and outs. We had four tackles for losses and a sack. It wasn’t all bad. - As Chris Spielman said, our effort never lagged, even when we fell hopelessly behind. You get tired of hearing that, though. - We got to the 20 point mark, which we’ve done every game this year. We did it once on the last nine games last year, (exactly 20). Our last team to score at least 20 points in every game? 1959. Our last team to score at least 20 points in every regular season game? 1987. We’re not bad.
