- Rakeem Christmas is becoming a monster inside. He didn’t just have a double-double. He had 15 points , 16 rebounds and a great one-handed interception of an alley-oop attempt. Big-time stuff.
- Chris McCullough scored 13 points with 4 rebounds but also had three blocked shots.
- Trevor Cooney may be beginning to find the range. His three pointer turned the 45-40 game into a 48-40 game and started a 20-7 game ending run in what was becoming a nervous contest.
- I’m glad guys like Tyler Roberson and BJ Johnson are getting extensive minutes. Johnson is showing what he can do and Roberson will benefit from not worrying about being pulled with his first mistake. BJ made a couple of big threes and Tyler had a big three point play off an aggressive move to the basket when SU started to build the lead down the stretch.
2-0 with 29+ to go. (Hopefully I won’t have to change the rhyme for a while)
