- This is going to be skimpy. Quincy Guerrier certainly played will, scoring a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. No lack of effort there. He also played 32 minutes with 2 fouls, which were committed in the first 4:16. He’s learned more about how to play this game in the last month than Bourama Sidibe has learned in three years.
- Jesse Edwards came in for the last 7:36 and scored 7 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and blocked 2 shots. He had 8 net points to Sidibe’s 1 in less time. It’s time he shared the position with Bourama, at the very least.
- Our five remaining opponents aren’t any better than we are. Let’s go 19-12! 18-13 would guarantee that the combined record of football and basketball teams would be above .500, (even if we go 0-2 in the post season). At least let’s go 17-14 and guarantee the continuance of the streak of winning basketball seasons. Let’s somehow finish the season with less of a bitter taste in our mouths than we have now.
