He c an hit one occasionally but Joe is the big gun and you could see what’s ahead for him as NE had two guys on him for much of the game. He’s going to be the Sean Tucker of the basketball team- the guy the other team doesn’t want to beat them. - Joe’s shooting and Judah’s penetration and passing opened things up for Jesse Edwards who played the way we’d hoped to see him play against an over-matched opponent. He not only got some dunks off the pick and roll but he also maneuvered around people in the post and used his height to reach over them to make plays. He scored 19 points on 8 for 10 shooting with 7 rebounds, (but strangely, no blocks), in 24 minutes. - Benny Williams concentrated on going to the basket to score. After an 0 for 5 start he hit his last three shots to score 7 points, grab 8 rebounds and make 3 steals. - Maliq Brown looked good scoring 4 points, two on a breakaway steal. He almost had another but couldn’t run the ball down. He filled the stat sheet with 4 rebs, and assist and a block. - Jason Taylor scored 5 points, pulled down 3 rebounds and also had one each of assists, blocks and steals in 14 minutes. 2-1 with 28+ to go LET’S GO ORANGE!!!
