- What a day in sports! I’ve streamed a soccer game, a fight and a DIII playoff game while having a basketball game and several football games on the telly.
- As it turned out, the world has not yet ended. We just got a road win from a 6-1 Notre Dame team that had just blown out Michigan State.
- They had no answer for Jesse Edwards inside. He scored 22 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.
- Joe Girard had a nice comeback game with 20 points. It’s significant That he was 7 for 8 inside the arc and 2 for 10 outside of it. When he scored 31 on Richmond, he was 8 for 13 inside and 4 for 11 outside, He also had 5 rebounds and two steals.
- With the winning bucket, our highly rated freshman guard, Judah Mintz out-scored their highly rated freshman guard, (from Baldwinsville), 9-7. Judah also had 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals vs. JJ’s 1-1-1.
- Justin Taylor wasn’t spectacular but he had 4 of the 6 rebounds from our forwards to go with 5 points, 2 assists and a steal.
- We won the game inside the arc, hitting 62.5% of our two pointers to their 44.4%. The had 11 three pointers but missed 22 of them.
- Jesse Edwards, a Dutchman, must be a happy guy tonight.
- Our next seven opponents are Oakland, Georgetown, Monmouth, Cornell, Pittsburgh, Boston College and Louisville and the first six of those are in the Dome. An 8 game winning streak producing an 11-4 record, 4-0 in the conference would look awfully good.
4-4 with 23+ to go
LET’S GO ORANGE!!!
