- Buddy Boeheim tried mightily to carry the team, scoring 25 of our 53 points. He just got no help at all.

- After being dominated on the boards in the first half, 19-28, we won that battle in the second half 20-17.

- We were also +3 in turnovers 10-13, so we were only down 2 possessions. It was all in the shooting.

- John Hugley, (Hugely?), in two games being defended by Jesse Edwards, is 4 for 17 from the field. Unfortunately, he’s also 11 for 15 from the foul line.

9-11 with 11+ to go.

LET’S GO ORANGE!

Buddy has to learn how to pass out of the double team. He’s 6’6” yet he can’t pass as well as Joe does when he gets trapped. For a big kid, he sure plays small at times.

I just can't believe a HOF coach put this team together. And actually talked it up as a good team pre-season. It's a team of slow footed players which is why the defense is so horrendous. It's a team of all catch and shoot guys. Ball handling is totally absent as is having anyone who can manufacture a shot or create a shot for others. Only Symir can create shots for his teammates but he can't shoot a lick from the field or FT line so that limits his PT. There isn't one player off the bench who contributes anything. I don't know how you go into a season intentionally having only 3 guards leaving yourself open to disaster if there's an injury. Will the HC change anything for next season or is it rely on a team of almost all freshman (who are not highly rated by the services) plus Edwards? Doesn't seem a reason for optimism.
