- We lost but it did not have the feel of the ‘reality check’ games of recent years. I love our passing. Everyone out there can pass and score and handle the ball well enough to keep it moving. This is an exciting team.

- With Bourama and Buddy we win this game. We would have held our own on the boards. Joe would have had a seat and Buddy would have hit some threes.

- Quincy Guerrier finally showed that outside touch he kept bragging about. He was 3 for 5 from three point range and scored 19 points and added 5 rebounds although I would like to have seen a few more.

- Alan Griffin led us with 20 points and with 8 rebounds, although he also had 6 turnovers.

- Kadary Richmond struggled in the first half but figured it out in the second and wound up filling the stat sheet with 6 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals.

- Marek Dolezaj scored our first 7 points and wound up with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals. They credited him with no blocks but I defiantly saw one vs. the fast break when we were pressing at the end. He had a lot of ‘hockey assists’ where he didn’t make the pass that led to the score but he made the pass that led to that pass.

- Woody newton again looked good in the 9 minutes she got in the firs thalf

- John Bok Ajak was the first big man off the bench, ahead of Frank Anselem and Jesse Edwards. He was supposed to be ‘not ready’ but had a dazzling assist for the second straight game and seemed to know what he was doing out there. He actually has some muscles and I’d like to see more of him.

- Civil War buffs will appreciate it if someday we can say that two of our best point guards were Washington and Richmond.

3-1 with 24+ to go

LET’S GO ORANGE!!!
