- I(t was a bad for the Orange but our relative modest goal of going 6-6 and finding our way back into a bowl game is still alive and well. And I think the exciting team we envisioned can still emerge from this mess. It’s just been postponed a bit.
- Dungey sure is a tough kid, coming back from that concussion and absorbing some of the hits he did in this game, once spinning like a helicopter on that sideline play. Also getting off to the bad start but getting better as the game progressed. He’s going to have a good career here.
- We were 7 for 15 on third down and 2 for 2 on fourth down, a big improvement over past games. (Unfortunately they were 7 for 10 on third down and did so well on first down that they didn’t have as many bad third down situations.)
3-2 with 7 or 8 to do!
