- Another 13 point lead, another comeback, even if we came up short in the end. Like JB said, this team plays with a lot of heart.

- I don’t know if we have a bad press or a good one, but it seems to have a good impact on the game when we use it.

- Our best player tonight was Marek Dolejai, who just missed a double-double with 9 points and 10 rebounds to go with 3 blocks and 2 steals. The game turned in the overtime when he fouled out.

- Oshae Brissett had his 6th double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds.

- We were behind on the boards 26-30 at one point. It wound up 49-39. That’s 23-9 when we decided to go get the ball.

- People were saying that if we could go 12-1 in the pre-conference games, all we’d need to do to make the NCAA tournament is go 8-10 in the conference. Well, now all we need to do is go 9-9.

A week ago, posters were saying 4-1 in the final 5 games would be good. 5-0 great and do able. Tough games envissioned were Georgetown and St. Bona. Turns out the tough games should have included UB which a couple of posters did include. Now posters are whinning that the prediction is coming true.

If we beat Eastern Michigan we will be 11-2 in the non-conference schedule. Dial it back: when the season began, would we have taken that back then?

Of course, expectations can change. In football we were hoping for an improvement, maybe a bowl game against a tough scheduled. Then we went 4-3 with a win over Clemson. Now it was about getting into a real good bowl game, not one of the lesser ones.
