- All hail Frank Anselem who responded to our adversity at center by playing 36 minutes, commit just 3 fouls, (he’s been averaging 6 per 40 minutes of play), and pull down 15 rebounds. He also scored 6 points, blocked 2 shots and had an assist. I knew we had two good centers, not just one.

- Joe Girard had one of his better games, making big shots that got us back into it. He had 16 big points, including 4 three pointers.

- Buddy Boeheim was wearing defenders all day but still was the game’s leading scorer with 21 points.

- The team showed guts coming back from an 11-point deficit to tie it up. Maybe they have the guts to get us four more wins.

A lot of us understood what a good rebounder Frank was and could be. The stats in his limited time showed it. I think bees or someone said a few weeks ago he wasn’t a good rebounder, which made me laugh. He showed them tonight what he can do. He doesn’t have much of an offensive game yet, but low post moves, the P&R game, and hopefully a Rak-like baby hook will come with time and seasoning. He’s basically just a freshman. Great upside.

Happy with Joe for the most part.

People already noted and you responded about Buddy’s points v efficiency. That’s already discussed.

My one quibble - defenders aren’t draped on him. There is no Kawhi Leonard fighting over screens.

At the end of the game, Joe did a hand off screen to Buddy and Buddys defender went under the pick. Under the pick.

Buddy is predictable. He dribbles into traffic, the defense knows what’s coming, sometimes he makes it, sometimes he doesn’t.

Also, Buddy doesn’t move a ton off the ball. Defenders aren’t chasing him like hes Steph.

Buddy is a good player. He’s being defended bc he’s easily predictable and limited, even tho he’s a good player.
