- We lost but we certainly played better and you have to feel better about their chances at Flordia State. . The we go Pitt-BC-Pitt-Georgia Tech. We could get our mojo back and get some much needed wins.

- Our skinny guys up front out-rebounded the Hoos 41-31 after being dominated on the boards their previous two games. How did that happen?

- Paschal Chukwu played like a 7-2 center, scoring 9 points and pulling down 16 rebounds. He was only credited with 2 blocks but Virginia only shot 11 for 26 from two point range. That’s Chukwu.

- Frank Howard hit four three pointers and led us in scoring with 18 points. He made one unbelievable shot with 51 second left form the corner and with a hand in his face to get us back to single digits and make the last minute interesting.

- Tyus battle was 0 for 7 from the arc but he was an impressive 6 for 9 inside it, making 15 footers in traffic several times. He never got to the line and wound up with 12 points. I guess he wasn’t fouled. Right….

Your guards' driving sucked our defense, especially the bigs, under the rim and left your bigs wide open for offensive rebounds because no one was left to box out. Plus there were a lot of long rebounds that went over the heads of our bigs while they were boxing out. The times when the announcers pointed out how well we boxed out came on shots from the outside when no one drove to the basket.
