- JB’s 900th win. And he’s 5-2 against the other two guys.
- For 35 minutes we handled a pretty good team. We built up an early lead and added to it until we had a 22 point lead. Detroit missed a lot of shots, (0 for 10 in the first half from the arc), but they are a good shooting team with an All-America candidate at point guard and they had a guy on them for virtually every one of those missed shots.
- Detroit played real, tough, aggressive defense, the sort we’ll face in the league. But for 35 minutes we found a way to penetrate it. MCW got his 10 assists. James Southerland hit 5 first half treys. CJ Fair made some good moves in the lane and got a couple of nice assists when the defense moved to stop him. Life was good…
- Here’s what I’ve learned, chapter 10: Rakeem Christmas found his way to the basket blocked , turned away for hit and threw in a dandy hook shot directly over his head that settled easily into the hoop.
