- Habemus Jumpshotum! James Southerland was in full Arkie mode the first and kept us in it while opening things up in the second half for Brandon Triche and CJ Fair, who scored 11 and 14, respectively as we pulled away to win. It was good to have a final score that didn’t look like a halftime score.

- It’s amazing how many more assists Michael Carter-Williams gets when his teammates shots go in than when they don’t. Was his decline in production about him or about them? The teams, overall, had 21 assists on 27 baskets.

- Baye Keita had a nice game, going 3 for 3 from the field, scoring 8 points and getting 4 rebounds. Our centers, (Coleman was glued to the bench), scored 14, pulled down 8 rebounds and got a block. Not dominant numbers but I’ll take it.

- Our POP, (Points outside the paint: total points-points in the paint-free throws made) was 11 vs. 37 in the Georgetown game. In this game, it was 37-32. We can play pretty good defense. We got off 44 more shots than our opposition in the 8 losses, so we don’t have possession issues, (rebounding, turnovers, loose balls). We have inside threat so we need to make jump shots. We’re a pretty good team when we do and we aren’t when we don’t. Today we made them.

24-8 is pretty great.

LET’S GO ORANGE!

assists overrated stat, I toss it to you and you drain a 30-footer. Turnovers more meaningful
