- The defense was great. We were worried about the defensive end position and whether we'd get any rushing from the edge. Enter Robert Welch who looked like Dwight Freeney out there, doing flips over defenders and sacking the quarterback or making a big interception that got us back in the game.

- Jason Bromley also had a strong game in the middle.

- Dyshawn Davis was dominant until he got dinged up a bit.

- Brandon Reddish' fumble return was a big play, even if it could have been bigger. How do you let a guy with the number 77 get you Brandon?

- Everybody under-estimates Jeremi Wilkes, talking instead about the guys behind him and wouldn't we be better off with them starting. Jeremi had a great interception and some big hits. Chris Gedney had an interesting line: Jeremi's only 5-9. He's dying to have Durrell Eskridge's body". Hmmm...

- I love Broyld, (and hopefully Estime later on) operating out of the slot. the defense has to cover the wide-outs and the right end and there will be openings form the slot and Ashton and Brisley can take it to the downs.

- George Morris has added some zip to our kick-off returns and Ritchie Desir is solid punt returner.

- We have to win 6 of our last 11 games to get to a bowl. We can do that.

the whole key to the season is to get to no worse than 2-3 after the clemson game. we could easily be 2-3 and have played 3 teams that are 5-0 and ranked.

Wilkes has gotten a lot of over the years for his play but he came up big yesterday.
