- We’ve just played two of the top four teams we will play this year. We are 0-2. 8 of our remaining ten games will be against teams not as good as this. And we will get better. We can go 6-4 and get to a bowl.

- We got a glimpse of the future in this game, possibly the near future. Hunt seemed determined to prove he belongs in there. He was going against second teamers but also surrounded by them. He seemed to know the plays and was exercising verbal leadership. The players seemed to respond to him more than they do to Allen. We went right down the field in a fast-paced offense that seemed more like what we saw last year. It may have been a false positive but it looked pretty positive to me.

- People say we’ve got no play makers, (Jimmer Morgan on The Score’s postgame show was screaming that we have no talent at all). I see Smith. I see Gulley. I see Morris and McFarland. I see Clark. I see Broyld. I see Estime.I see Moore. I see Funderburke, (who looked fine). I think we have plenty of playmakers. We’ve just got get the ball too them more efficiently. Those guys can win games for us.

- We stunk and we gained 435 yards and scored 27 points on the #19 team in the country. What will we do when we don’t stink?

I'd be surprised to see us not be competitive in the ACC this season. I think the 3rd spot in the Atlantic can be had.

All the points the offense scored were on their own today as NW had zero turnovers. We force 3 and this could have been a whole different ballgame.

This team will be fine and I still see a 7 to 9 win season.

I think we were outplayed in all facets if the game. Complete domination. Hard to take positives away from such an abysmal performance.

Heck if that Moore kid can block and catch the ball well we may have just found us a heck of a player in the slot. That said I really hope Wales is ok.

Another plus...I thought Eskridge played a helluva game.
