- Kudos to Alec Lemon for probably the best game of his career. 9 catches for 157 yards and a score. He saved drive after drive with his third down receptions.
- Same to Nick Provo who had 7 for 53 yards and a score. Nick broke Chris Gedney’s SU record for receptions by a tight end in a season and now has 39. He’s now got 80 catches on his career, 11 short of Gedney’s record with at least three games to go.
- Both coaching staffs did a good job of settling their players down after a first half so bad the tape of it needs to be burned with the leaves. The second half was as well-played as the first was badly played.
- Maybe we came out firing from the no-huddle in the second half because the coaches finally realized that that’s the best offense for this team. We can hope.
