- Rak had a “bad” game. He scored 15 points, pulled down 12 rebounds and blocked 5 shots. Remember when we had Christmas, Keita and Coleman they couldn’t do that combined?

- Tyler Roberson continued his late-season surge with 16 points and 12 rebounds. He shot that 12 footer with more confidence. Sometimes players show late in one season what they are going to do the next year, (see Rak last year and Gbinije to a lesser extent).

- Congratulations to Carter Sanderson. He showed ‘em how to do it.

- I think we may have bottomed out, on the court at least. I know we’ll have only 10 scholarship players a year for four years, (unless that gets adjusted on appeal), but it’s hard to believe we will be any thinner or more inadequate at so many positons than we were this year .

- I’m done with caring who wins a game for a while. I’ll have flicker of it when the lacrosse team makes the Final Four again. But it will be 75 and sunny outside. If we lose, I’ll just go for a nice walk. In the meantime, bring on the golf tournaments, the auto and horse races, Mayweather-Pacquiao and baseball games that are either 1/144th or 1/162nd of a season. I’ll see some movies, read some good books and just enjoy life before I’ll let anything in sports get to me again.

18-13, (9-9) and that’s all there is.

LET’S GO ORANGE!!!!

Easy for you to say. I gotta battle my addiction to the Chicago Cubs.

Kidding aside, your posts have been among the few bright spots during these ill-fated football and basketball seasons. Many thanks.

Incidentally, I look forward to your one-liners . I sense another career looming.
