I have missed the last few home games, so I’ve obviously not had anything to share. Lots of kids sports.

I don’t have much to offer today either.

We started at College Town Bagels in the old Starbucks location on corner of Marshall St. it was jam packed, but so good. All sorts of bagels, sandwiches etc. great place to stop if that’s your thing.

Entered into Miron Victory Court. Pretty sweet. This is gonna be a great new addition for crappy days, and basketball season. And I really did feel like it opened up the corridor walk quite a bit.

Before kickoff it was quite clear that the students weren’t gonna be there. But just like every other week, this upper end zone is an awful sight, and it needs to be addressed.

Thought the Coach Mac ceremony was fantastic, and as usual McDonough did great.

And, as badly as we need some traditions around here, I’m not sure the bass drum thing works. It has no meaning, and it’s different every time. If it was a particular pattern or beat, that the crowd could get involved and join in on it would make a lot more sense. We need to work on that.

I’m willing to bet there isn’t anyone here that would not have signed up for 8-3 to this point. Bring on the Canes!

They need to put a mic near the drum.

How about "How many brands of beer can you name in 60 seconds!"

And for the record, I love "Simba Cam." I'm also fond of "Muscle Pose Cam" as long as they're focusing on kids being kids.

The problems I have with it…

-come up with different things besides cereal for the 4th time this year. It is repetitive

-it takes too long. Do 15 secs tops. 120 secs takes forever

-it isn’t interactive for the rest of the fans. Who wants to play along, especially if there is no skill?

- the players don’t care and come up with like 5. It isn’t a challenge

I’ll agree I would of signed up for 8-3 but if we somehow beat the Canes it will sting to think of what could of been.Just a play or two from playing in the ACC championship and getting an invite into the first ever college football 12 team playoff.

If we beat Miami IMO it will be the 2nd best regular season since McNabb.
