Cinncinnati loses a guy, probably justifiably, to an elbow…ejected for the game

Christian Leattner would have never made his game-winning heroics vs. Kentucky in today's world

It's certainly up for debate about which world is better.

I vote for the old world…make a mistake, pay the price, back at it, leave the PC police out of it.

PC police? Just because he didn't injure the guy doesn't mean he wasn't trying to. I'm watching this Cincy/Purdue game also. An inch or two lower or higher could have easily split open a brow, broken a nose, knocked out a tooth. No place for that in basketball.

I don't disagree, technically

But you're talking about eliminating probably 20% of the world's greatest performances…

Bird for taunting, Barkley for everything, etc. For heavens sake Laimbeer/Rodman have RINGS and such…I referenced Laettner, who else in college was an enforcer?

There used to be honor on the court/field (admittedly some guys pushed it…)

Anyway, I'm just lamenting that life in general is being legislated out of personality…sterilized if you will…

Welcome to Butler Basketball, not Syracuse circa '87-'91

I don't mind saying I like it less
