With Rutgers and Maryland in the B1G
14 B1G teams
14 SEC teams
13 ACC teams
12 Pac-12 teams
10 Big XII teams
and 1 Notre Dame
there are 64 teams for the 4 x 16. Chop them up whatever way you want. It is clear the Pac-12, B1G, SEC will survive who will be the 4th the Big XII or ACC? I am not sure we may see a 14th ACC team unless its ND we could be headed to 4 16 conferences real soon.

Just a coincidence really. There are teams inside that probably don't belong and teams outside that probably do.

And where exactly is the PAC going for its additional teams?

The Big 12 and ACC will eventually merge.

As for who gets pushed out if UConn and/or Louisville are brought in, it might depend on what Texas does. If Texas goes to the Big 10, for example, there's no need for Texas Tech. I used to think Iowa State could be on the chopping block, but it turns out they're an AAU institution. Which brings us back to Texas Tech. There's really no need for them, period.

How about Oklahoma and Kansas? They already like OU and OSU, and the feeling's mutual. K-State's stock is high right now, and the allure of KU is obvious.

Exactly

it'd be an interesting dynamic to see what FSU does in terms of being the big fish to ND being the big fish, if they actually join the conference

Perhaps together they could form a school.

Who are the Carolina mafia? If UNC is sniffing around the SEC and B1G who is going to put the hit on them? If NC State is discussing family business with Mike Slive who gets the contract to shut them up?

Insert Lville and delete texas tech. Also, what is gained with teams like purdue, iowa stae, etc at the big boys table?
