That game was awful.  UNC destroyed us in the first half.  But then we had our chances to get right back in it...the nullified TD would've made it 17-14.  Instead we settled for a FG.  Then we drove down the field and had to settle for a chip shot FG...which we missed.  Could've been winning or at least tied, and yet were still down 17-10 due to stopping ourselves.

I think Cuse missed at least 2, maybe even 3 FGs that game, and committed a ton of penalties.  Another example of over scheduling.  UNC went 10-2 and had already played a game at that point.  We had a loaded team, and started 0-1 like always.  Could've played a nobody and still got a W despite all the mistakes.  Almost 20 years later, we're still making the same mistakes in scheduling.

That 96 team was good enough to be undefeated going into the season ending Miami game at home.  Missed opportunity.
