I personally dont care for the particular music genre and find much of its lyrics offensive but the fact is  alot of young white kids  these days listen to hip hop/rap and follow the artists just like  black kids. Maybe Im wrong but I dont believe they are being racist or overtly insensitive as implied  because it is a prevalent music  Just tune into one of the tv music stations or even listen to some of the music being played in bb warmups around the hs scene.  Maybe Im also naive but I also believe the vast majority would respect the wishes of a teammate if he had said something about it being offensive. If you dont want that music being played or sung than ban it for everyone in every sport . Good luck with that because  there would be complaints from all corners if music was allowed but certain genres werent
