I like that we are good in the second half. I just wish we didn't completely blow in the first half. It's nice to shoot -4 on the back nine, but if you have seven double bogeys on the front does it really matter?

I don't care who you play, it's hard to keep a team on their own side of the 50 for half a game. Especially with the way things went in the first half.

Sure they got a little bit of help from the O giving SB terrible field position every time, but that's for another post.

Too many big plays... I'm ok with the other team scoring but the need to earn it.

If we can't stop giving up big plays we will NOT have a winning season. In my opinion Shaffer is on thin ice for three or four years his Ds have given up way way too many big plays. I know that the offense is everyone's favorite whipping boy but the defense has the same big play problem year after year.

In the first half the wrs were definitely open.

In the second half, a lot of those terrible throws went to receivers who were not at all open.

No matter how you slice it, the second half was a different defense.
