He was a Dallas Texan to start with and was a member of their 1962 championship team. The became the Kansas City Chiefs in 1963 and re was traded to the New York Jets the next year. He was a starting defensive tackle for their 1968 Super Bowl champions and helped shut down the mighty Colts. He retired the next year, going out with the league he’d served so well.
