Took a few really key points away from Dino’s presser.
He was saying it all week, but we basically winged this game plan. Had no clue what was going to line up against us. I think that says a lot about the guys, especially the defense being able to get a shut out. Next week I believe you will see a much crisper game with some film to work off of. This should help out with the offense.
He really believes in the Dline depth, which is huge. We all thought that was a question mark going in, but a lot of guys looked really good out there tonight. We produced 8 sacks without pressuring, and I expect to see more blitz packages next week. We also may have Williams back. We played without our best interior Dlineman. Insane!
With all of our defensive back talent, he believes Iffy is elite and has another level. He sure looked that way tonight. Our talent at DB is insane. We are going to be able to blitz and play tight man coverage on basically anyone.
Offense wasn’t very good tonight, but I expect TD to bounce back next week. I’m very excited about the D and Specials. We’re going to win a lot of games with those two units alone.
