Things to bear in mind.

OK, time to put things in perspective.
Tough as yesterday's loss to the ACC refs was, we have a lot to look forward to.

• We are in the first year of a new rather complicated offense. It will only get better.
• We have the best staff since Marrone's.
• We have greater depth building.
• Our remaining roster eligibility is massive.
• By the end of the season, our underclassmen will have more game experience than ever before - especially on defense.
• If the defense holds opponents to under 30 points per game, our new offense will win a lot of games year in and year out.
• Thr portal is our friend. If we can get an offensive lineman or two and another receiver, as the late great Keith Jackson would say, "Whoa Nellie!"
• The dome is getting filled and interest is high.
• We are getting great press exposure.
• We're going to beat Clemson next year at our house.

So, let's beat the Irish and get on with it.
