In addition to the talent gap between SU and other teams- in terms of both players on the field and coaches, SU will NEVER get any calls in Big East games from the refs, and if anything will be plagued by b.s. calls from BE officials sticking it to the departing team.
And EVERY BE team we play, this year or next will be extra fired up to play the departing traitors and prove that (A) SU (and Pitt) were bad choices and (B) they belong somewhere in a BCS conference. Combined with the above paragraph is a recipe for disaster.
I truly hope all of the "mystery" recruits this board salivated over yesterday aren't disgusted by the hideous fan apathy (empty seats sure ain't support) and pop warner level playcalling and actually come aboard to help right the ship.
But as my Penn State alumna bride pointed out after the last Directional Suntan score, "at least you're not Penn State right now." Ugh.
