'Cuse alum here who's read this board a long time but hadn't posted... After watching STJ and BC games I almost bet against SU vs Miami as I just couldn't imagine that team not getting blown out again but was happy it felt too dirty to do so and I was completely wrong after the lineup change.

Just to comment on this part of your post, I tuned in about 10 minutes in, and from what I watched initially I could not figure out at all how we were up that much.  The Pitt 'press' seemed to be doing exactly what they were trying to do.  Not to steal the ball but SU was throwing 3-4 lollipop passes losing 10 seconds to start every possession without Pitt losing anything on D.  There must have been at least 4 or of 5 possessions where we did absolutely nothing until the clock got down to 5 seconds and Gillon jacked up a deep 3 with a hand in his face.  Fortunately pretty much everyone was hitting their shots today just like against MIA.  Eventually Gillon started dribbling through the press instead of wasting so much time lobbing it back and forth in the backcourt.

Obviously this team is playing with a ton more energy with Frank not in the mix.  They are also hitting their shots and I think the margin of error will be very slim in the ACC if they go cold from outside.
