Predicted this to a T. Pay special attention to the second non italicized paragraph down when it refers to secondary defenders and how it especially applies to this situation when the secondary defender slides over. And YES the defenders feet were still sliding over. This is why JB went uncharacteristically ballistic saying he's, his team and SYRACUSE are not taking this BS and bending over. The new rules we're put in SPECIFICALLY for this situation.

yep oops, fixed. And more especially with respect to the secondary defender part how sliding over is illegal and NOT an offensive foul based solely on chest contact.

maybe it's time to slow the game down and use instant replay in critical situations like they do in other sports. The more instant replays in the games means more demerits against that crew.

Hopefully that would lead to more non calls and force the players to actually play the ball instead of doing a flop like Paulus made famous at duke.

be tough to do that with refs calls, maybe with plays at the end that are game effecting though. At the least with the amount of pub this is getting maybe just maybe it will effect a ref or two to eat the whistle at the end of games on similar judgement calls.
