He's been on a tear. Missed that game winner after the WVU make, but he's been playing well.Weren't there a bunch of people on here that said McClung wasn't that good when he was at Georgetown? He looks pretty good to me.
There are some things that defy all comprehension. This is one of them. I saw these a few years ago and still don’t understand
It's true. This is an example where grouping all six foot white guards together isn't all encompassing. Imagine Joe or Buddy doing windmills on a break?!?There are some things that defy all comprehension. This is one of them. I saw these a few years ago and still don’t understand
I don’t know how tall Rex Chapman was but the ups and showmanship remind me of himIt's true. This is an example where grouping all six foot white guards together isn't all encompassing. Imagine Joe or Buddy doing windmills on a break?!?
I'm only talking about verticality
It’s frustrating that Syracuse has become mostly average the past several years, while Huggy (great coach btw) has been able to maintain WVU as a almost regular top 25 program (like we used to be), despite their location constraints in terms of recruiting and being far-flung from the other Big 12 schools. How has Huggy been able to maintain fairly high-level success for WVU while JB and Cuse have lagged behind? It’s so strange. It really makes you think JB has lost some key ingredient to his success. I know part of it is that recruiting is down, but I think he got away from what once made him great.Bob Huggins has his job for however long he wants it even if he decides to start drinking beers on the sidelines.

How did this become a referendum on Joe and Buddy? My OP was about the game itself being entertaining basketball and then this kids ridiculous athleticism. But I do like his speed with the ball.Yes. Going by career stats, he does practically nothing that shows up on a stat sheet better than Buddy Boeheim. He’s marginally better than Joe Girard on the stat sheet.
His defense isn’t good. He’s not a PG and doesn’t create for others. He can get to the rim okay and he can dunk.
edit: I used “stat” probably two times too many
They are symptoms of our fall. How did this become a referendum on Joe and Buddy? My OP was about the game itself being entertaining basketball and then this kids ridiculous athleticism. But I do like his speed with the ball.
Not trying to turn this into a player vs player debate I was just trying to find a time to show that dunk video.Yes. Going by career stats, he does practically nothing that shows up on a stat sheet better than Buddy Boeheim. He’s marginally better than Joe Girard on the stat sheet.

But you did say he’s a “volume chucker” and if that’s the case, so is BB based on the #s I see. Although I think you edited that post.
In one post you said it was in response to mine. It looks like it was deleted before I saw it.It was late/early but I think something happened to some posts. Or I’m losing it. Idk. I remember calling him a chucker; I don’t remember editing it out.
Yeah who deleted Randy Quaid? Sure he’s a crazy person now but then? Pure gold!Something in this thread got screwed up. A post was deleted or moved or whatever. My ‘stats’ post was replying to a point that referenced him in comparison to our guards, and not just in a “he’s athletic and fun to watch” way.
I knew some clown would mention the one bad season Huggins has had in the past decade. I am well aware of that season. They completely bounced back the following year. Huggins has done an incredible job at a school that is tough to recruit to.Imagine if JB went 15-21, like Huggy did in the not so distant past. This board would be up in flames.
He never gets enough credit. Top 5 coach IMOI knew some clown would mention the one bad season Huggins has had in the past decade. I am well aware of that season. They completely bounced back the following year. Huggins has done an incredible job at a school that is tough to recruit to.
