Bring Shafer back means 2 things happen

1) Attendance will actually get worse in 2016, that is obvious
2)  Coyle's takes a HUGE roll of the dice with his decision.  It's a results oriented business and a what have you done for me lately type of job.  Coyle's judged on the big money maker sports and he can't give away a football season. He is graded on what Shafer does in 2016, that counts on his resume.  If Shafer has a big 2016, that makes Coyle look great. But the other side of that coin matters too. AD's aren't supreme court judges, they don't have job security for life. They get graded on results, especially of the big-boy revenue making sports. Coyle can stand with Shafer in 2016 but if Shafer fails in 2016 then Coyle's seat will start to get warm. You only get so many "my bad's" as an AD when it comes to the big boy sports. Coyle was brought here to fix football...let's be honest. If his first major football decision is wrong, he dug himself a hole he might never get out of.
