USF, who we would have beat too, would have been a rock fight because of the way USF plays. This was more a wide open game. MCW played well. Brandon played well. James played well. CJ played well and both centers played well. Hopefully now, the offensive confidence we gained today carries over to tomorrow for some of them. I know we wont shoot as well but at least now everyone has some confidence back.

Exactly why I wanted SHU. USF would have kept us in 50's, we didn't just need a win, we needed to see the ball go in the basket.

I wanted to play USF because Pitt/Cincy/Gtown all play that style and it would have been good practice/warmup

I def preferred SHU. If we want to beat Pitt we have to be able to attack and score in the paint. Additionally of the games we lost without James Pitt was really the one I think he could have made a difference. They packed it in so much you could not breath.
