We were the better team and we just beat ourselves with sloppy undisciplined football. The Rutgers game cost us an outright BE championship and this one might cost us a bowl.
The RU game Pugh had just come back from injury and slipped on the blocked FG play that was run back for a TD. Ryan threw 2 picks and SU had 4 TO's in the second half to lose 13-14. We just beat ourselves.
I think this was worse in some ways. We were pretty much out of it by the end of the first half. This one really hurt.
Unfortunately, we have to wait a few weeks before we get anything to get excited about. Hopefully, I am wrong.
