Spent a little bit of time this morning compiling/wrapping my meager mind around the 17 and 18 classes together.  Fun watching as the roster is made over in front of our eyes.  Only counting players entering Sophomore or freshman years (excluding the JUCOs that are Jrs and Grad Transfers), we've apparently added 21.5 projected offensive players and 16.5 to the defense (I don't know which way A. Stritzinger will ultimately go?).

No defensive player is listed shorter than 6'0.  Love the balance of intriguing skill position talent ( especially Ed Hendrix recently) and Oline big fellas with serious potential (headlined by T. Sampson who I think becomes a multiple year captain a la Zaire, along with Patrick Davis and Q. White).  And obviously the biggest recruiting get in years in Tommy Devito at the most important position on the team.  Pretty awesome last few weeks in recruiting, even with the news of Cam Jonas' ACL (fully worth scoring his commitment), two years to heal and learn the scheme.  Can't wait to see how they finish this class.  Agree in looking thingsbiver and knowing what we have currently that DT is the area of greatest need, hope they can sway some big nasty's our way, although Chris Elmore's DT tape was better than I remember, quick feet!
