There has been a lot of speculation here about whether BJ would have been better served to have redshirted.   I supposed we as fans can say that the program may have been better off if he had redshirted and he had three years of remaining eligibility rather than two, but in terms of what is good for the individual I think its hard for fans to say without being able to walk in your shoes and know all that might go into making that decision.

My recollection is that you said right from the beginning that you and BJ did not want to entertain taking the redshirt.    I don't know if the role that BJ has had with the team his first two years is what you anticipated when you and he originally made the decision that he would play and not redshirt.    I assume that you anticipated a bit more active a role than he has had up until recently.    Just wondering, if you had it to do over, knowing how these first two years would play out, would you consider taking the redshirt, or would your decision be the same?
