I start this with the fact that I was literally teary eyed sitting in Siracusas in Smyrna GA just outside of Atlanta. This was the 1st sweet 16 i've missed since 2010 - and even in Atl i was without a few of my regulars that i usually watch with. But there were a few newbies so we still had a great time.

I thought about how earlier this season I had bet that cuse wouldn't win 17 or 18 games had lydon played 25 min at center. I thought about how bad Lydon was at center today and how right i probably was... then i thought about the horrific reffing - but we aren't going into that here...

and then i thought about how the "leaf in the wind" made the 2nd best block in school history and that is when i really started to get the good emotional feeling. at that point i didnt care about the bet i made months ago. I was so happy - so proud - so teary eyed for the team that i have followed and defended to everyone outside of this board so hard. the elite 8 - are you kidding me?!? who would have ever thought that was possible?? seeing that i predicted them in my bracket to be here - I guess i did - but honestly, i didnt really. No matter what... the highs and the lows this season - I'm freaking proud as ever to be Orange!

I am officially moving to Rochester this summer and i can't freaking wait to be able to attend more than a few games here or there at the Dome. I look forward to being a regular again.
