Mea culpa, followed by some sort of PSA campaign against child molestation.

The university and JB seem to be on pretty solid ground, considering that for some reason Davis did not present the investigators with that tape.

JB is a man who defended a friend who was investigated 3 times, with no action taken.

50 years, plus 3 investigations that went nowhere bought Fine a lot of loyalty, just as they should have.

Now the story has changed, and it's time for JB's support to change as well.

He could've worded it better, but this is by no means a fireable, or suspension-worthy event, IMO.

JB needs to get something out by tonight. Once Monday morning hits and everyone is back from vacation and the media centers are at full staff...hell is gonna rain down on Syracuse. Which is why JB saying something tonight is a must. And it better be, I was wrong. I am sorry. And stuff along those lines.

Get out in front of this. Don't let the media drive this story. JB has to drive it now. Waiting for this to play out and giving "no comment" is not the way to go.

Way overboard. The facts still have not changed there is no proof Davis was ever molested. The whole story is flimsy at best and could be an outright fabrication. Besides what would the PSA say "Hi I'm Jimmy B and unlike 0.01% of the US population I'm against child molestation.
